Morten Qvale graduated within the graphic industry, and started TIQUE, Norways first international fashion magazine.
As the Editor-in-chief at TIQUE, Morten used every chance he got to study with the masters he hired, such as Guy Bourdin, Bill King and Terence Donovan among others.
Being curios and eager to learn, he quickly picked up his own camera, and started shooting his own work.
Pursuing a career in photography, he left TIQUE and moved on to shooting international campaigns for clients such as Oscar De La Renta, Jourdache Jeans, Adidas, H&M, Synsam, Riccovero, Garnier, Jan Thomas Studio, David Andersen, Langaard Jewlery, First Hotels, IBM, Reebok and editorial clients such as Vanity Fair, ELLE International, L’officiel, Schön, Mens Heath, Azzarenko, to name a few.
He is a highly sought after photographer for his technical ability, amazing use of lighting and his witty sense of humour.
Morten’s beautiful art photography of both landscapes and nudes are sold to many well-known art collectors world wide, and is based out of his gallery in Majorstua one of the busiest part of Oslo. Qvale Galleri has also the artistic responsibility for the artwork at Bølgen og Moi Briskeby, one of Oslos most popular restaurants.
Morten is also the owner together with his two photographer sons Truls Morten and Thomas, Zone 5 Studios is located at the old airport Fornebu. Zone 5 Studios has tree large studios, equipmentrom for film and photography, a 300 m2 gallery space for art exhibitions. The place is also perfect for events.

Morten had his first solo exhibition with “Shot in a tent” during the Haugesund film festival in 2000.
An exhibition in which he shot 30 celebrities during the same festival the year before, in 1999.
It was also exhibited at “Filmens Hus” in Oslo in 2000.
In 2005 and 2007, Morten had 2 separate solo exhibitions in the “Kunsthuset” gallery.
Qvale Galleri was started in 2013, located at Vibesgate 10 Majorstua in Oslo.also represented at Gallery Fineart.
