About Morten Qvale

Born in 1957 Drøbak, Norway.
Morten Qvale graduated within the graphic industry, and started TIQUE, Norways first international fashion magazine.
As the Editor-in-chief at TIQUE, Morten used every chance he got to study with the masters he hired,
such as Guy Bourdin, Bill King and Terence Donovan among others.
Being curios and eager to learn, he quickly picked up his own camera, and started shooting his own work.
Pursuing a career in photography, he left TIQUE and moved on to shooting international campaigns for clients such as
Oscar De La Renta, Jourdache Jeans, Adidas, H&M, Synsam, Riccovero, Garnier, Jan Thomas Studio, David Andersen, Langaard Jewlery, First Hotels, IBM, Reebok and editorial clients such as Vanity Fair, ELLE International, L’officiel, Schön, Mens Heath, Azzarenko,  to name a few.
He is a highly sought after photographer for his technical ability, amazing use of lighting and his witty sense of humour.
Morten’s beautiful art photography of both landscapes and nudes are sold to many well-known art collectors world wide,
and is based out of his newly opened gallery in the busiest part of Oslo.
